Attorney-at-Law admitted to the Madrid Bar, Partner- Vice Honorary Consul of Spain
In 2013, he became the first Spanish Attorney at law to obtain a permit from the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice to practice law in Vietnam.
Before joining our team, Alejandro began his professional career in Madrid as an Attorney at law working for Spanish law firms in the field of international business law and civil law. His experience includes legal advising as well as litigation: representing clients in a variety of business and civil disputes.
He qualifies in corporate law, international trade, investment and setting up businesses in South East Asia including M&A, Joint Venture, licensing, international trade, distributorship, intellectual property labour and employment law with particular emphasis on the regime for expatriates, tax and pre-litigation practice.
The Spanish and Latin America Desk combines legal knowledge with deep sector experience which covers the full spectrum of commercial and business law issues and provides companies from Spain and Latin America with comprehensive legal, tax and business advice to support their cross-border business in the region.
In addition to advising enterprises in the start-up phase in South East Asia (through corporate establishments or using any other contractual form of commercial organisation), the Spanish and Latin America Desk also involves in the development phase including external growth operations (Mergers and Acquisitions), the restructuring of corporate groups, the sale and purchase of companies or share holdings and real estate transactions.
The Spanish and Latin America Desk assists companies within a wide range of industries such as manufacture, retail, healthcare, insurance, financial services, IT... with operations in the region and has acquired extensive experience to effectively support the success of its clients. The Desk has particular connections and works closely with the Representatives of the Spanish and Latin American Embassies and Chambers of Commerce, allowing us to stay on top of the pulse of what is happening within the international and local business community.
Alejandro is graduated in law from the University of Complutense of Madrid, Spain and holds a Master in International Business law from the Jean Moulin University of Lyon, France.
