Alejandro Dominguez is the Honorary Consul of Spain in Vietnam and partner of Fidal Asiattorneys’ Vietnam practice, leading the Ho Chi Minh City office’s commercial and investment practices.

With over 7 years of experience in Asia, Alejandro is an authority on inbound investments in the region and has ample experience advising international companies on cross borders transactions and inbound investments in multiple jurisdictions with special focus in France, Spain, Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Alejandro´s main practice covers every stage of the investment process, beginning with offshore structuring issues and market entry, including advising on appropriate entities, tax considerations, licensing requirements, intellectual property protection and labour compliance matters. He also assist clients on international corporate matters, including incorporation, joint ventures, cross-border M&A, intellectual property, and negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.

He is a truly global practitioner, with strong cross-cultural knowledge, transversal capacities and prospective vision with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in English, French and Spanish across a broad range of legal and financial topics.

Based in Vietnam, he is also the head of the firm’s Spanish Practice and Co-Founder and Vice-president of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.

Alejandro earned his Law Degree from Complutense University School of Law in Madrid, Spain, alongside an M.A. in International Business Law from Lyon III University of Law, France, and is licensed to practice law in Spain and Vietnam.
